Should I remove the thermal paste the comes with the Corsair H100i Pro and employ aftermarket thermal paste? Or should I simply go out information technology lone? Is there any performance difference between those methods and if and so by how much on a i7 7700K? Thanks!

And in Tom's review:
https://world wide web.tomshardware.com/reviews/corsair-h100i-pro-cpu-cooler,5471.html

"Corsair wisely chose to use a copper base contact plate for heat transfer between the cooler and the CPU's integrated heat spreader. The H100i Pro ships with factory-applied thermal chemical compound, but nosotros cleaned the base to instead apply our standard testing compound of Arctic MX-4. "

So between the included Corsair paste, and the MX-iv, there was a 1C difference.
33.4 vs 32.4.

I'd just use what is on there, unless I already had something better laying around.

If you lot intendance plenty that it bothers you lot, then you lot should figure out what the specs of your thermal paste.

I have 3 corsair coolers 2x h110i- 1 h100iv2 all 3 had the manufacturing plant paste wiped off and cleaned 2-3 times with at least lxx% isopropyl (xc% is best) and so Thermaltake Tg seven thermal paste used my temps on my ryzen 2600x with h110i runs 76c running prime95 small-scale fft'south
Over a 8-ten hour run.
Read on the pastes some accept cure times.
The tg 7 can be purchsaed from most all-time purchase's for effectually ten.00 usd.
I have seen better temps with tg 7 then IC DIAMOND or Artic Silver v on my 3 system's.

So at that place is only a 1C difference? I thought information technology would exist more than that. Are you sure about that number?
